Jay's Indian Restaurant
Jays since 2002
When we began, we wanted to ensure that we embraced the indian culture within our cooking and service. But we also wanted to keep a little of the European influence. So, when you walk into the restaurant, you feel like you are walking into a modern cafe, with local artwork on the wall, a fusion of indian and western music playing in the background, an open kitchen, and a selection of wines from many parts of the world. Jay is passionate about wine, grappa and limoncello, and can swear that these drinks go well with indian food.
Pork and Beef are rarely eaten in India, and we have kept to this tradition here in the heart of Basel, and do not serve pork or beef.
